2024 Joint Civil-Military Air-Defense exercise ( No.47 Wan-An Exercise)

2024/07/22
To implement national defense education and deepen public awareness of air defense, a "pre-alert and zoned" approach will be used in accordance with the Air Defense Drill Implementation Measures. Combined with the live drills of the Han Kuang Exercise, the drills will take place from July 22 to 25, 2024, in the following order: Central Taiwan, Northern Taiwan, Eastern Taiwan and Offshore Islands, Southern Taiwan. On the day of the drill in each region, from 13:30 to 14:00, a 30-minute period will be designated for warning transmission and issuance, evacuation and refuge, and traffic control. After the air defense drill warning is lifted, from 14:00 to 14:30, local governments and participating civil defense teams will conduct a 30-minute setup of "wartime disaster relief stations" and a disaster rescue drill. Organizations, companies, factories, or members of the public within the drill areas who fail to comply with the regulations under Article 21 of the Civil Defense Act and Article 12 of The Implementing Regulation on Air-raid Practice may face fines ranging from NT$30,000 to NT$150,000, as stipulated under Article 25 of the Civil Defense Act.
