The 1st regular meeting of CPICC for Southern Region of 2026

       The 1st regular meeting of CPICC for Southern Region of 2026 was held at 10:00 a.m. on May 14 at the Kaohsiung City Disaster Response Center. The meeting was chaired by Lieutenant General Liu Wei-hsin, commander of the Theater of Operations and convener of the conference, with representatives from the Executive Yuan Mobilization Committee, the Tai-Min CPICC, local governments under the jurisdiction, and military units jointly attending.

       This meeting integrated the three conferences of mobilization, combat power integration, and disaster prevention to conduct concrete work reports and opinion exchanges focusing on the five major pillars of "Whole-of-Society Defense Resilience." Additionally, Professor Chang Yu-min from Central Police University was invited to deliver a special report titled "Responding to High-Intensity Gray Zone Operations and Contingencies Approaching Conflict with a Whole-of-Society Resilience Model." Through the political-military communication platform, the session aimed to effectively enhance civil-military integration capabilities and refine mobilization mechanisms, ensuring the continuous operation of government and civilian functions during extraordinary times, and supporting military operations when necessary to achieve the ultimate goal of whole-of-society defense resilience.
