The 1st regular meeting of CPICC for Northern Region of 2026
The 1st Regular Meeting of the 2026 Northern Region All-Out Defense Combat Power Integration and Coordination Conference was held at 10:00 a.m. on May 19 at the New Taipei City Disaster Response Center. The meeting was chaired by Lieutenant General Lien Zhi-wei, commander of the Theater of Operations and convener of the conference, with representatives from the Executive Yuan Mobilization Committee, the Tai-Min CPICC, local governments under the jurisdiction, and military units jointly attending.
This meeting integrated the three conferences of mobilization, combat power integration, and disaster prevention to conduct concrete work reports and opinion exchanges focusing on the five major pillars of "Whole-of-Society Defense Resilience." Additionally, relevant departments of the New Taipei City Government were invited to present reports on the "Bali District Evacuation Operations" during emergencies. Through the political-military communication platform, the session aimed to effectively enhance civil-military integration capabilities and refine mobilization mechanisms, ensuring the continuous operation of government and civilian functions during extraordinary times, and supporting military operations when necessary to achieve the ultimate goal of whole-of-society defense resilience.
