The 1st Regular Meeting of the 2026 Eastern Region All-Out Defense Combat Power Integration and Coordination Conference was held at 2:00 p.m. on May 26 at the Ceremony Hall of the Hualien Defense Command. The meeting was chaired by Lieutenant General Huang Chao-cheng, commander of the Theater of Operations and convener of the conference, with representatives from the Executive Yuan Mobilization Committee, the Tai-Min CPICC, local governments under the jurisdiction, and military units jointly attending.

      This meeting integrated the three conferences of mobilization, combat power integration, and disaster prevention to conduct concrete work reports and opinion exchanges focusing on the five major pillars of "Whole-of-Society Defense Resilience." Additionally, relevant competent units, including the Hualien Port Branch of Taiwan International Ports Corporation and the Hualien County Government, were invited to deliver special reports on the "Hualien Port Materials Receiving and Transfer Planning." Through the political-military communication platform, the session aimed to effectively enhance civil-military integration capabilities and refine mobilization mechanisms, ensuring the continuous operation of government and civilian functions during extraordinary times, and supporting military operations when necessary to achieve the ultimate goal of whole-of-society defense resilience.
