To enhance research energy in the fields of All-out Defense and defense mobilization, the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Education jointly organized an academic seminar hosted by National Chengchi University. Experts and scholars presented papers, and through joint discussions and opinion exchanges, professional and feasible results were achieved to serve as a reference for subsequent policy planning and operations.
With the joint efforts of the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Education, and National Chengchi University in planning and executing the project, the opening ceremony was co-chaired by the Administrative Vice Minister of Education and the Director-General of the All-out Defense Mobilization Agency of the Ministry of National Defense on May 14, 2026. The Deputy Executive Director of the Institute for National Defense and Security Research delivered a keynote speech on "Regional Situations and How to Use International Power to Strengthen Taiwan's Whole-of-Society Defense Resilience." The seminar focused on the five major areas of All-out Defense Education (international situations, defense mobilization, national defense policy, all-out defense, and defense technology) and whole-of-society defense resilience. A total of 24 special papers were presented, and the event was attended by 201 participants, concluding with complete success.
This Ministry will continue to collaborate with the Ministry of Education to conduct the "All-out Defense Education and Defense Mobilization Academic Seminar" annually. Through diversified education, we aim to promote all-out defense to the society and schools, establishing the concept that we must defend our own country by ourselves, thereby garnering support for all-out defense and truly safeguarding national security and social stability.
