2024/10/03
The 2024 Seminars on Professional Manpower for Mobilization were held in eight sessions from February 20 to April 12, 2024. Officials responsible for mobilization affairs from various ministries, local governments, critical infrastructure sectors, and military units were appointed to attend. The seminar focused on four key aspects: “regulations”, “policies”, “procedures”, and “practical exercise.” It was divided into topics such as "Overview of International Humanitarian Law," "Introduction to All-out Defense Mobilization Mechanism," "Practical Exercise on Material Supply and Requirement Verification," and “Scenario Simulation." The aim was to enhance participants' professional competencies and learning outcomes by integrating theoretical foundations with practical experiences from various courses, thereby, improving mobilization preparedness. Additionally, by conducting compound disaster scenario simulations, participants were guided trainees in assessing required civilian workforce and materials. They also discussed mobilization plans for both peacetime and wartime tasks, as well as challenges, and strategies for improving mobilization mechanisms in the future.
